Meet Miami’s Girl Bosses at WILL’s Summer Soirée
Miami’s fiercest femmes are gathering in our community at Canvas Miami for an end-of-summer soirée presented by WILL, the Women in Leadership League. They’re a collective of women who find and offer empowerment through each other. And we’re loving this particular bit from their site: “Our community is meant for leaders but embodies those who fulfill their lives with leadership as mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, friends, colleagues, business owners, managers to CEOs.” YAS, ladies.

//// Maxeme Tuchman | Founder, Caribu
A native Miamian, Harvard Business School M.B.A. Alum Maxeme Tuchman spent the early part of her career working as a Teach for America corps member in her hometown as part of the leadership team and advisory board. Maxeme later went on to work in the New York City Mayor’s Office and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation before enrolling at HBS. In 2013, after a brief interlude in consulting, Maxeme was named the Executive Director of Teach for America for Miami-Dade. She then became one of sixteen individuals appointed by the President of the United States to serve as a White House Fellow, “America’s most prestigious program for leadership and public service.” Served as a strategic policy advisor, providing guidance, coordination, and strategic planning on financial inclusion and financial education initiatives. In 2016, as a leader, innovator and CEO who launched Caribu, a mobile app that offers the ability to connect families through technology.

Offering over a decade of small business marketing experience, Vivian has a passion for small business marketing. Previously Marketing Director for Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Southeast, Florida USA. Vivian got into real estate after, she was sought after by the MIAMI Association of Realtors for her digital marketing expertise. Vivian holds a Masters degree and two Bachelor degrees from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida USA. Vivian is a Co-Founder of the Flourish Media Conference: Where Women Do Business, an annual business conference where attendees learn about branding, visibility & funding. VIP attendees have the chance to pitch for up to $15 Million in business funding from Vivian’s little black book of investors.

As some of the largest advertising agencies in the globe, Y&R and Wunderman employ a combined 13,500+ people around the world. As the Chief Talent Officer, Loren leads the Talent function for the Latin American region, making sure the organization has the best talent, in the right roles, at the right time to fulfill our business objectives. A psychology practitioner by training, Talent exec by profession, and innovator by heart. Loren spends her days visualizing the future and helping organizations position themselves to transition and thrive in the new age of work.

Gaby Guzman is a creative activist and founder of “The Jupiter Circle”. She works with women entrepreneurs to help them grow their businesses through creating an authentic brand, owning their voice and growing their tribe. She’s had four different careers including Consulting and Human Resources, before landing in Communications at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. She has led award-winning social media strategies at advertising agencies in NYC and Miami. She loves living in Miami and is committed to be part of building a better city. Her passions include civic engagement and Feng Shui. She’s an old soul that is happiest at the beach or thrift shopping with her 7-year old son.
