ACME Lounge is Bringing the Jams to A+E
For the past few months, the Arts + Entertainment District has been secretly guarding one of the city’s coolest hangs: ACME Lounge. Its 1970s flare and swanky, dim lighting makes it the perfect spot to show your friends you really understand a good vibe. But what keeps you there? The deliciously flavorful cocktails and that memorable smell of handmade pizza wafting from the food truck on site. Now, you’ll have one more reason to keep coming back: music.
The folks at ACME are adding to its status as best neighborhood bar by bringing in the live tunes throughout the week so you can start you happy hour off with a jam. Tonight, February 15th, the series of evening tunes kicks off with their Wednesday Jazz sessions called Jazzy Stars, featuring the always sultry, Zoe Fromer. Tomorrow, they’ll start their unplugged nights with folk songstress Ella Herrera, and round it off with their Saturday DJ lounge sessions with Bedside.
The rest of the month will be filled with tunes by local favorites like Electric Kif, vinyl DJs, and another show-stopping performance by Zoe Fromer for her very last show in Miami before moving to NYC. So if you’re hanging around the neighborhood after an event, or if you’re looking for the kind of bar that’s still a secret local hang, swing by ACME and relish in the sounds of our city.
